We are looking for a full-time Calibration Lab Manager in our corporate office in Grand Prairie, TX.

This is a full-time position in Grand Prairie, TX reporting to the VP of Operations.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Lead a team of Calibration technicians to meet all the needs of customers.
  • Set goals for performance and deadlines in a way that comply with company plans and vision.
  • Follow and maintain costs as they relate to running an efficient calibration laboratory.
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
  • Manage both in lab calibration work as well as onsite calibration.
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure employees are following procedures and policies to keep them and others safe.
  • Verify equipment accuracy by comparison to known standards.
  • Adjust equipment as necessary to meet industry standards for accuracy and customer requirements.
  • Follow documented processes to perform a combination of manual and automated calibrations, utilizing automation software.
  • Utilize company software system to input data necessary to manage inventory.
  • Maintain lab and storage areas in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
  • Maintain all shop equipment in good, safe working order.
  • Assist in quality control and safety programs.

The skills we look for:

  • Proficiency in interpreting data derived from testing in order to determine acceptable testing parameters
  • Ability to complete applicable documentation
  • Knowledge of electricity a plus
  • Managing remote teams a plus
  • Experience with onsite calibration a plus
  • Knowledge of proper adjustment procedures for test and measurement equipment and repair techniques.
  • Prefer PMEL, METCAL, TMDE qualifications but not necessary with other work experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A.S. Degree in a technical field or ASQ Calibration Technician Certification (CCT, or PMEL)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management or supervisor role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration.
  • Good driving record with the ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Have or willing to obtain First Aid/ AED/ CPR Cert
  • Be able to pass drug and background checks

We are looking for a full-time Calibration Lab Administrator in our corporate office in Grand Prairie, TX. This position reports to the Calibration Lab Manager.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Provide direct customer support, developing and maintaining positive customer relations.
  • Receive incoming equipment, inventory equipment, and enter into ERP system, if necessary.
  • Package and ship outgoing equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors to schedule equipment calibrations and repairs to include obtaining quotes and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Assist in implementing a quality assurance program that ensures not only compliance but overall customer satisfaction with every job.
  • Utilize company software system to input data necessary to manage customer assets and information.
  • Maintain lab and storage areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
  • Assist and adhere to safety standards.
  • Assist with prepping of equipment.
  • Assist with cleaning of equipment after calibration.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

The skills we look for:

  • Advanced Microsoft skills, specifically the ability to prepare reports, generate spreadsheets, charts, presentations, and other forms of correspondence

  • Knowledge and understanding of the calibration field preferred, but not necessary

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years’ experience in an administrative support role
  • Good driving record with the ability to drive a company vehicle

We are currently looking for an Electronic Calibration Technician for our Anaheim, CA location.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration tasks on electronic, electrical, and electro-mechanical Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and Measurement Standards (MS).
  • Versatile knowledge of the field of electronics covering both theory and practice to functionally test and calibrate test equipment.
  • Develop and utilize policies and procedures that adhere to company standards and create uniformity in our lab processes.
  • Develop and implement inspection activities to ensure compliance to those policies and procedures.
  • Verify equipment accuracy by comparison to known standards
  • Adjust equipment as necessary to meet industry standards for accuracy and customer requirements
  • Originate and maintain required calibration records in the calibration database
  • Follow documented processes to perform a combination of manual and automated calibrations, utilizing automation software.
